Fields of Hope Counselling
Christian / Faith-Integrated Counselling
A space where your faith is welcomed, not set aside — online, Australia-wide, with a counsellor who understands the weight faith can carry in a hard season.
Is This For You?
Maybe you've wondered whether struggling this much means your faith isn't strong enough. Maybe church has been a source of real pain as well as real comfort, and you're not sure how to hold both. Maybe you're not even sure what you believe anymore, and that uncertainty feels like its own kind of grief.
Wherever you're at, this is a space where those questions are welcome — not something to resolve before we can start, but something we can sit with together, without judgement and without an agenda to fix your faith for you.
- You're navigating anxiety, depression, grief, or trauma, and want a counsellor who won't treat your faith as irrelevant — or as the problem.
- You've experienced hurt within a church community and are working out what that means for your faith and your wellbeing.
- You feel like a "bad Christian" for needing support, even though you'd never think that about anyone else.
- You're deconstructing, doubting, or somewhere in between — and want a space that won't rush you toward certainty.
- You simply want your counsellor to understand what it means when you say faith is part of how you make sense of things.
What Faith-Integrated Counselling Looks Like Here
This isn't biblical counselling in place of clinical training, and it isn't a substitute for pastoral care or church community — it's clinically grounded, trauma-informed therapy, with faith woven in only where and how you want it to be.
As a professing Christian myself, I understand the language, the questions, and the weight that faith can carry in a hard season. But this space fully honours the beliefs, values, and autonomy of everyone I work with — whether faith is central to your story, complicated, or not part of the conversation at all.
My Approach
Work is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing on Person-Centred Therapy, CBT, ACT, Narrative, and Solution-Focused approaches. Faith is never assumed or imposed — we go at the pace and depth that's right for you, whether that means exploring scripture and prayer as part of processing grief, or simply having a counsellor who doesn't flinch when faith comes up.
