Delaney Chow — Founder, Clinical Counsellor and Supervisor, Fields of Hope Counselling
"I've never treated this work as routine. It's a privilege — and I'd love the chance to walk alongside you."

I'm Delaney — a Clinical Counsellor and Supervisor based in Sydney, working with people online right across Australia.

As an Australian-born Chinese and a professing Christian who has spent a lifetime navigating between cultures, I know first-hand what it's like to feel caught between worlds — and how much it matters to be understood rather than fixed. That's what shapes the way I work today: trauma-informed, integrative, and genuinely attuned to identity, culture, and faith when those things matter to you.

Is This for You?

You might be the person everyone else leans on — and quietly wondering who's there for you. You might be holding grief you haven't let yourself feel, or anxiety that's been there so long it feels like part of your personality.

Trauma & complex trauma

Something happened — or kept happening — and it changed how you move through the world.

Anxiety & overwhelm

The overthinking, the what-ifs, the constant dread that something is about to go wrong.

Depression & low mood

When everything feels heavy and nothing feels like enough — we start where you are.

Relationship & family

Conflict, disconnection, or the weight of family dynamics you didn't choose.

Life transitions & identity

Starting over, losing a role that defined you, navigating a new season.

Faith & spirituality

Where faith is welcomed, not set aside — doubt and meaning explored with care.

Cultural identity

The complexity of growing up between cultures, with a particular heart for the Asian community.

Grief & loss

Loss takes many forms. Grief doesn't follow a timeline — it simply needs space.

Counselling for Asian-Australians

Culturally attuned support for identity, family expectations, intergenerational dynamics, and the particular complexity of growing up between cultures.

Christian / Faith-Integrated Counselling

A space where your faith is welcomed, not set aside — faith-integrated support available on request, and never assumed.

Clinical Supervision

You might be newly qualified, carrying the weight of your first clients and wondering if you're getting it right. You might be experienced, but working alone — without a space to think out loud, question your blind spots, or simply be witnessed in the work.

Individual Supervision

Depth and privacy — the space for the case that feels too exposing to bring to peers, at the pace that suits your specific caseload.
